Efficiency Maine
Efficiency Maine is accepting applications from commercial, municipal and non-profit organizations for the second round of its $2.5 million competitive program. Awards, ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 per facility, will go to large electrical energy efficiency and distributed generation projects, which must provide at least 50% matching funds.
Proposals are due by March 30.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture
The USDA offers assistance to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. USDA is accepting the following applications:
- The Renewable Energy System and Energy Efficiency Improvement Guaranteed Loan and Grant Program provides financial assistance to agricultural producers and rural small businesses to purchase, install, and construct renewable energy systems; make energy efficiency improvements; use renewable technologies that reduce energy consumption; and participate in energy audits, renewable energy development, and feasibility studies. Proposals are due by March 30.
- The Feasibility Studies Grant Program offers financial assistance to complete a feasibility study, which is required in applications for many of USDA’s and other government agencies’ energy programs. Proposals are due by March 30.

The REAP/EA/REDA Grant Program will provide grants for energy audits and renewable energy development assistance.
Rural Energy for America Program/Renewable Energy Systems/Energy Efficiency Improvement Program
The REAP/RES/EEI Grants Program provides grants for energy audits and renewable energy development assistance. It also provides funds to agricultural producers and rural small businesses to purchase and install renewable energy systems and make energy efficiency improvements.
Rural Energy for America Program/Feasibility
The REAP/Feasibility Grant Program provides grants for energy audits and renewable energy development assistance.

The California Energy Commission
The CEC seeks to fund research, development and demonstration projects that will advance the science, technology and market penetration of grid-connected distributed generation/combined heat and power/combined cooling, heating and power and integrate emerging technologies, including energy storage and fuel flexibility, in diversified applications.

The California Energy Commission
The Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant Program will provide more than $35 million for small cities and counties in California. The local governments can use these funds for cost-effective energy efficient projects in their communities. Projects might include lighting retrofits, building upgrades, mechanical equipment, clean energy systems, various energy management controls and other energy efficiency measures.

Ameren Illinois Company
AIC seeks proposals for new portfolio programs that would assist in capturing all cost-effective achievable energy efficiency for the utility. The Illinois legislation requires that Illinois electric utilities administer an annual solicitation process for the expansion of energy efficiency programs to capture all cost-effective achievable efficiency.
Electronic proposals are due by March 15, printed proposals by March 18.

Ohio Department of Administrative Services
Ohio DAS seeks competitive sealed proposals for its Energy Conservation Measures Project at Ohio State University, which will implement energy, water, and wastewater conservation measures to significantly reduce energy or water consumption, capital costs, and operating costs of its buildings.

New Jersey
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority
Money is available for companies to site Class I renewable energy or energy efficiency product manufacturing facilities in New Jersey. New Jersey clean technology manufacturers can receive funding for project assessment and design, or project construction and operation.
Applications are now being accepted in an open, rolling process and will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority
NYSERDA seeks a contractor to assist in developing several congestion mitigation and air quality programs for transportation in New York. These include incentive programs for installing diesel emission control device equipment on medium and heavy-duty trucks and offering voucher-style incentives for the purchase of hybrid-electric, compressed natural gas, and battery electric medium and heavy-duty trucks.
